Lauren Elisabeth.
"to say the very thing you really mean, the whole of it, nothing more or less or other than what you really mean, that's the whole art and joy of words."  CSL

Both closet grandma and tomboy at heart, I can be found sewing or working on home improvement projects in my spare time. Flannel shirts and naps are gifts straight from the Father. I'll never turn down an opportunity to have an impromptu dance party, and a good cardigan will get you far.

I started this blog when I left for an internship in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Now, 3 years later, it has become a place for me to reflect and to point to the "never-stopping, never giving up, unbreaking, always and forever love" of our only true Source of Hope.
Whether it's my godson, Poutchy, in La Source, Haiti, my move back home to Augusta, Georgia, my experiences in Fairfield, Alabama, my family, the Briarwood Fellows Program, or the every day, I think that life is full of opportunity to share my story, the stories of others, and to walk through these ups & downs of this life together.

“I have no notion of loving people by halves, it is not my nature.”
- Jane Austen
